Offer DescriptionThe research activity involves the design and realization of chemically modified electrodes. Different types of electrode supports (metallic, carbon-based or polymeric) will be exploited to coat the conductive surface with compounds of different nature in order to make the sensors sensitive and selective towards the analytes of interest. The coating of the electrode surfaces can be achieved through chemical and/or electrochemical synthesis. The researcher will use the main electrochemical, spectroscopic and surface analysis techniques for the characterization of the developed devices.
