- Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions' Hospitality Data Platform, aligning with business objectives and market needs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including product management, data engineering, analytics, and customer success teams, to gather and prioritize product requirements.
- Create and maintain a product backlog, prioritizing features and user stories based on customer feedback, industry trends, and business impact.
- Work closely with development teams to translate requirements into actionable tasks and ensure timely delivery of product increments.
- Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and review sessions, providing guidance and support to cross-functional teams throughout the development process.
- Act as the primary point of contact for product-related questions and issues, serving as a subject matter expert and advocate for our Hospitality Data Platform.
- Monitor product performance and gather feedback from customers and end-users to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous innovation.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge and drive product differentiation in the hospitality data space.
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or related field
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in the data platform or analytics space, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong understanding of data management, analytics, and business intelligence concepts, with experience working with data platforms, data lakes, and/or data warehouses.
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels and drive consensus.
- Analytical mindset, with the ability to gather and interpret data to inform decision-making and drive product improvements.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals and deliver exceptional results.
- Detail-oriented approach, with a focus on delivering high-quality products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Confluence.
