- Data Mining / Analytics in support of market insights
- Conducts hypothesis-driven investigations into detailed physician-level, patient-level and transactional-level data, to gain business insights from various customer perspectives (HCPs, patients, payers) independently or in collaboration with data partners. Work with large datasets to uncover market trends and opportunities. Interpret and contextualize analytical findings, leading to distinct and actionable business implications. May require utilizing tools beyond Excel, such as SQL, Python, R, or specialized data analysis software for in-depth analysis. Ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data and output
- Systematic Monitoring of Business and Market Trends and Development and Actionable Insights
- Leads the development and refinement of timely, on-going analysis and reporting to concisely communicate relevant business issues through ad-hoc reporting or periodic market reporting. Identify business opportunities and problems that can be solved using data analysis. Pro-actively streamlining processes and deliverables based on business impact/needs. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and objectives
- Communicating insights to business partners
- Translating data insights into actionable recommendations that drive strategic decision making. Effectively communicating insights and analysis to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through the use of visualizational tools . Gathering feedback to further refine and enhance analytical output to best align with business needs
- Bachelors degree from accredited institution required.
- Master’s degree in business analytics, finance, engineering, data science, or related field. MBA, MSc or MPH preferred
- 5+ Years of relevant experience in sales analysis, forecasting, finance, pricing, or other related areas
- Experience in pharmaceutical analytics preferred
- Expertise with IMS data and other secondary industry sources is required
- Strong knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools is required (Excel, SQL, Python, Tableau, Power BI, R, or similar
- Strong attention to detail, quality control and problem-solving using big data
- General coding experience highly preferred
- Experience in handling large data sets and relational databases
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Project Management expeirence
- Innate intellectual curiosity, demonstrated desire to take initiative, and ability to think creatively to solve complex problems
- Outstanding team- and business partner facing communication skills. Strong project management skills
