- Directs the interpretation and application of established Company Human Resources policies, which may include
- collective bargaining agreements.
- Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs. May represent the Company at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
- Recruits and selects qualified applicants to maintain workforce levels in accordance with established policies and
- procedures including EEO/AA and ADA compliance.
- Contracts with outside suppliers to provide employee services, such as temporary employees.
- Administers compensation and benefits programs in accordance with established policies and procedures to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
- Implements local AAP / EEO and maintains compliance.
- Coordinates the administration of employee safety, environmental, security, workers compensation programs.
- Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Facilitates manger and employee training programs including safety, benefits, harassment, other.
- Advises and assists management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues, policies, procedures.
- Maintains records of personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting purposes.
- Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation; conducts exit interviews.
- Participates in cost savings initiatives for the plant.
- Represent the company positively and effectively in all situations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Environment is typically general office, though the incumbent may spend periods of time in the manufacturing environments with exposure to dust, dirt, high noise levels and variations in temperature.
- The incumbent is expected to know and follow all safety rules for the environment.
- The Minimum education required for this position is a Bachelor's Degree. PHR or SPHR Certification preferred.
- The minimum related experience required for this position is 5 years of relevant Human Resources experience preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Labor Relations experience in manufacturing is preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of federal and applicable state employment laws and human resources practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Applicant Tracking Systems, Job Boards and Portals.
- Requires ongoing coordination, communication and/or team problem solving between departments or functional areas.
- This position requires contact with employees at all levels, outside vendors, and government agencies.
