Rate: £28.50 UMB P/HJob Summary:As a Housing Advisor in Tower Hamlets, youll play a vital role in preventing homelessness and providing housing advice to local residents. Your responsibilities will include conducting housing advice interviews, negotiating with landlords, advocating for customers, and promoting council schemes to assist in securing accommodation.Key Responsibilities:Conduct housing advice interviews with local residents.
Provide quality advice on housing options and landlord/tenant disputes.
Advocate for customers, including representation in court proceedings.
Maintain accurate records and respond promptly to queries.
Collaborate with partner organizations to improve service delivery.
Promote council schemes and assist in securing accommodation.Essential Requirements:Detailed understanding of housing law and legislation.
Experience in a housing-related role, preferably in a local authority or RSL setting.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a demanding environment with attention to detail.
