- Manage required data functions, including gift processing and gift acknowledgment, on a timely basis, with acknowledgment letters mailed within 2-3 business days.
- Perform regular audits for accuracy in the Raiser's Edge constituent database.
- Create and maintain financial and analytical reports as directed by CDO and Director of Development and Major Gifts.
- Manage and perform regular financial reconciling of the database and organizational financial systems.
- Implement policies to maintain data integrity by identifying, developing, and refining processes for operational efficiencies that maintain data integrity and support the development team.
- Manage donor moves management progress in Raiser's Edge NXT to assist with donor cultivation and stewardship.
- Provide Raisers Edge training and technical support to staff. This includes developing written training materials and data policies.
- Regularly update the database and Constant Contact emailing lists to ensure all contacts are moved through the development process and coded appropriately.
- Develop and lead the implementation of a prospect research process to a) expand the pipeline of mid-level and major donors and b) ensure steady progress for the agency's top-rated prospects, including written prospect management plans with moves management stages, planned cultivation steps, and proposed solicitation strategies.
- Responsible for prospect research on current and donor prospects as directed by gift officers.
- Utilize Raiser's Edge and Research Point to provide insights into donor behavior and motivations, conduct meaningful analysis, and produce reports for the Advancement Team that further fundraising objectives and increase contributed income.
- Prepare prospect profiles and meeting prep sheets to inform cultivation and solicitation strategies for individual mid-level and major donors and institutional donors as directed by gift officers
- Establish and maintain a structure within the database to effectively identify specific data segments for various analyses and targeted fundraising efforts.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required with a preference in database administration or record management.
- Minimum of three to five years of progressively responsible work experience in database management.
- Proficiency in managing donor and constituent databases
- Proficiency in database administration, prospect and constituent management, data imports and exports, and report development
- Possess excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Must have a strong customer service orientation. Comfort and effectiveness translating between end users' needs and database output.
- Must be able to organize and prioritize work, be proactive, take the initiative resolve problems, follow through, and simultaneously manage multiple priorities to ensure goals are met promptly
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a small team-based environment.
- Ability to build effective working relationships both internally and externally.
- Diligent work ethic, personal drive, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks independently.
- Proficiency with Raiser's Edge and Raiser's Edge NXT and supporting technologies. Ability to both plan for and respond strategically to challenges and opportunities
- Experience within a nonprofit or healthcare/social service organization preferred.
