- Assist with the underwriting and preparation of credit presentations associated with both new loan requests and the renewal of existing credits.
- Assist with the obtaining of updated financial information from borrowers and guarantors as needed
- Assist with the monitoring, completion, and submission of Annual Reviews as necessary.
- Review commercial account activity and issues on a regular basis with Loan Officer.
- Correspond with Bank clients at the direction of Loan Officers or Bank Management.
- Maintains the highest level of confidentiality with all information obtained.
- Actively participate in training programs to maintain and acquire additional job knowledge and skills.
- Promote the bank's products and services.
- Represent the Bank in a manner that maintains and expands positive relations with all customers, prospects and Bank colleagues.
- Perform as a team member in allocating and coordinating the workflow.
- Contribute to the fulfillment of department and company objectives and goals.
- Comply with all Bank policies, procedures and regulations.
- Meet expectations for attendance and punctuality.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Develop familiarity with all applicable federal and state banking rules and regulations regarding lending.
- Adhere to all applicable Bank policies and procedures.
- Cooperate with banking Regulators and Auditors.
- Positive attitude and the ability to take direction and accept constructive feedback.
- Keep appropriate parties informed of project status, problems, issues, etc.
- Negotiate and attempt to resolve conflicts around projects or work assignments; communicate problems to the manager as needed.
- Preferred Skills/Experience -
- Knowledge of fundamental banking principles
- Willingness to learn and understand CCBank's credit policies and our "credit culture"
- Experience with bank loan and deposit systems preferred.
- Some accounting experience is preferred. Financial institution experience may be substituted.
- Demonstrated competency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail oriented and analytical thinker.
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills.
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to review, interpret, and provide financial analysis on business and personal tax returns and financial statements.
- Understanding and ability to calculate EBITDA, EBIDA, EBITDAR
- Knowledge of loan covenants and commercial loan structure.
- Prior experience underwriting commercial real estate loans, construction lending, and various types of lines of credit.
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a cohesive team.
- Ability to meet bonding requirements for employment purposes.
