As we continue to grow, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team.Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
- Diagnose mechanical issues and conduct thorough inspections to identify problems
- Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems
- Conduct electrical system diagnostics and repairs
- Operate from the workshop and attend breakdowns and call outs when required
- A recognised automotive qualification, preferably as a diesel mechanic
- Prior experience working on earthmoving and agricultural equipment as well as trucks
- Sound technical skills and mechanical ability
- Strong diagnostic skills for using diagnostic software and maintaining digital records
- Excellent attention to detail and fault finding abilities
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergency repair requests as needed
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
