Offer DescriptionWork Plan:1) Preparation and translation of technical documents using Portuguese and English languages.2) Topology optimization of elastic and thermoelastic structures with functionally graded materials integrated with additive manufacturing and digital image correlation.3) Preparing and submitting papers to journals with scientific referees.Workplace: The work will be carried out at the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering (DEMI) of the NOVA School of Science and Technology of the Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, under the scientific guidance of Professor Pedro Samuel Gonçalves Coelho, being the contractor NOVA.id.FCT - Associação para a Inovação e Desenvolvimento da FCT.Fellowship duration: The scholarship is for three (3) months, starting in May, 2024. If the jury, finds it necessary, the 2 candidates with the best classification in the curriculum evaluation will be selected for interview. - Percentage weighting WITHOUT interview: a. Master degree average score in the scientific area: 20% b. Skills on structural optimization with emphasis on topology optimization: 20% c. After notification, candidates will have 10 working days to comment on the draft decision (prior hearing of interested parties, under the terms of the Code of Administrative Procedure). The final decision will be taken after the expiry of the prior hearing period, again notified to all candidates by e-mail.
