To find out more about our commitment to sustainability and about Amcor, visit .Job DescriptionPosition Overview:The Integrated Sales Manager is responsible for leading the Specialty Containers Sales Associate Team across all segments. Leading and developing a Team of 6 Sales Associate, the Sales Manager will develop and execute a comprehensive plan with accountability for attaining regional account and stock product sales growth.Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Coach and develop a team of Sales Associate direct reports who can be future candidates for field sales roles
  • Develop and manage a process for prospecting and lead qualification using website leads, internal marketing research, cross BU referrals, etc.
  • Support commercial team in lead generation and qualification process
  • Assist Market Development Manager in research projects, analyzing segment, building customer, competitive and product database
  • Coordinate and work with plants, R&D group, F&A to complete the specification sheet for stock packages
  • Co-ordinate and communicate pricing changes with sales, the cash management group and customers
  • Provide forecasting support to the Supply Chain Organization on behalf of the sales associate team
  • Coach team to assist in price quotations, monitor contract compliance and the development of promotional events and procurement of promotional items
  • Execute tactical plans based on strategic direction of the business
  • Support implementation of Value+ activities with direct reports
  • Develop & manage stocking program with plants and supply chain team using input from sales segments, team activity, etc. Focused growth in key markets (ie- S&W, Food/Dairy/Nutrition, Healthcare)
Qualifications:
  • Minimum experience of 5-7 years’ successful sales and marketing experience, preferably with complex, multi-national, national and regional accounts in the packaging industry
  • Excellent team management skills, proven coaching ability.
  • Both internal and external relationship building and communication across all functional areas of the company, particularly operations, finance, customer service and R&D
  • Strong communications skills – spoken, written, presentation.
  • Must be competitive, with a strong sense of personal accountability, strong leadership and negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyze the account and identify growth opportunities, identifying the appropriate resources in order to capitalize on them
  • Extremely proactive and aggressive in seeking new business opportunities
  • Strategic thinking and demonstrated ability to autonomously drive the team objectives in line with company priorities
