- Develop security architecture, standards, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Lead security incident response efforts, including investigation, analysis, and resolution of security incidents.
- Develop security architecture, standards, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Responsible for cyber threat identification, evaluation, prioritization, controls implementation and remediation activities.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analysis to identify potential security threats and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Participate in incident response planning and the actual handling of security breaches or interruptions. Develop protocols for emergency situations to minimize damage and resume operations as quickly as possible.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security requirements into the design and development of new systems and applications.
- Continuously review and propose changes to systems, networks, and software designs.
- Analyzing logging and alerting data, identifying, and escalating potential security events
- Partner with business user to support the intergradation of cybersecurity protection into business operations.
- Act as the key member of the incident response team.
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Security, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related Engineering discipline and typically 8+ years of relevant experience
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of required education.
- Experience with data security administration principles, methods and techniques.
- In-depth understanding of TCP/IP protocols, network analysis, and network/security applications.
- Knowledge of operating systems, particularly Windows, Linux, and macOS.
- Familiarity with domain structures, user authentication, and digital signatures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Preferred Certifications: CISSP, RHCSA, RHCE, MCTS, MCSA, CISM
