- Ability to interact and cater to members and guests with professionalism and a high level of customer service
- Directly prepare or supervise all sauces, soups, proteins, vegetables, starches, salads and sushi for the menu.
- Evaluate production of all food items to ensure quality and timely food service.
- Oversees any buffet set ups and presentation used for Restaurant functions and special events.
- Responsible for Setting up, maintaining, and breaking down of all Restaurant buffets
- Assist with hiring, scheduling and training restaurant culinary staff.
- Responsible for ordering all items used for the kitchen and assist the Executive Chef with monthly inventory.
- Ensure high standards of sanitation and cleanliness are maintained at all times in the kitchen.
- Exercise portion control of the menu and private party items and establish controls to minimize food waste and theft.
- Possess a professional demeanor and attitude, and have excellent communication skills.
- Must possess strong organizational skills and be able to handle multiple tasks in a high volume environment.
- Three (3) to Five (5) years’ experience as a Restaurant/Sous Chef. Preferably Associates' or Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts with Private Club experience.
- Serv Safe Certified
- Display excellent interpersonal skills Illustrate and promote attention to detail Night, weekend, and holiday work required
- Competitive Salary from $62,000-$65,000 per year depending on experience.
