- Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, including scope, budget, and schedule.
- Conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and assessments to evaluate project requirements and constraints.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities, to ensure project requirements are met.
- Preparation of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly project control reports, as well as operational reports concerning cost, schedule, progress, budget, forecast, manpower, and quantities.
- Formulating project parameters and assigning responsibilities to the most capable employees and monitoring the project team.
- Ensuring compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.
- Provide technical support in construction planning, quality control, interpretation of design, application of construction methods, and documentation.
- Prepares comparisons and evaluations associated with project estimates, forecasts, cost trends and schedules pertaining to budgets, productivity, manpower loadings and other operational data parameters.
- Tracking project budgets and costs, establishing product costs, and analyzing changes in company costs.
- Conducts meetings, draft reports or reviews work of others as related to project management.
- Supporting administration of the project teams and the coordination of activities between project locations; ensuring that all decisions and activities within the various project teams support the project's objectives and priorities.
- Assisting in organizing and controlling project work to ensure that all project objectives are being met with regard to safety, environment, cost, schedule, work environment, and quality.
- Preparing and giving presentations on projects.
- Assisting project controls in the preparation of cost estimates and/or cost loaded schedules
- Obtaining all necessary permits and approvals for planned work.
- Prepare and track project submittals and requests for information.
- Keeping team members informed on progress and developments.
- Monitoring project document development and change orders.
- Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance to access secured facilities, including military bases.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction or infrastructure projects.
- In-depth knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction practices, and project management.
- Familiarity with relevant software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and project management software.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations.
- Proficiency in construction project management.
- Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
- Ability to effectively communicate complex engineering concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
