The Cocktail Server ("Servidor de Cócteles”) provides a courteous, timely and professional service in the restaurant, shows complete knowledge of all menus and pricing, as well as a proactive, customer-oriented attitude.PAY & PERKS

ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Serves and actively promotes food and beverage offerings.
  • Take and accurately input food and beverage orders from guests.
  • Presents menus in a courteous and professional manner, offering guidance and answering inquiries about food and service.
  • Demonstrates extensive knowledge of cocktails, spirits and strong wine expertise.
  • Follows cash and credit card handling policies at all times.
  • Process payments, including cash, credit card, and room charges.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of server/bar stations as delegated.
  • Prepares garnishes and sauces as required.
  • Cleans and polishes dining wares.
  • Ensures work and dining areas are clean and appropriately set.
  • Completes opening, closing, and any assigned side work and tasks.
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as directed by the leadership team.
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience and/or training.
  • A combination of experience, education, and/or training may be substituted for either requirement.
  • Previous similar position in a hotel, or similar business entity preferred.
  • Must be able to attain a valid San Diego County Food Handler certification upon hire. Evans Hotels will provide this training and is to be completed at the company’s expense.
  • RBS certification required.
  • Availability to work on weekends and holidays is required.
  • Ability to stand, kneel, squat for prolonged periods of time, up to and including, the entire shift and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • The following position will be filled in accordance with the process set forth in California Labor Code Section 2810.8 and San Diego Municipal Code 311.0101 et. seq.
