- Define data and analytics vision, strategy and associated processes and practices.
- Maintain authority for exploiting the value of enterprise information assets, and of analytics used for decision making, automated decisions and company performance improvements.
- Build partnerships with executive leadership to establish the vision for managing data as a business asset, to exploit data and analytics capabilities to maximize business value.
- Organize and chair a data and analytics governance council/committee.
- Foster a data-driven culture, related competencies, and data literacy across the company.
- Oversee data-driven innovation.
- Lead data and analytics architecture to optimize the enterprise technology landscape.
- Expand the organization's research and analytics offerings.
- Oversee data integration and migration programs.
- Deliver and maintain models, processes, standards, and practices.
- Oversee definition, management and promotion of enterprise data and analytics principles, policies and programs for stewardship, advocacy and custodianship of data and analytics, including data quality and interoperability.
- Lead regulatory and compliance programs related to data and analytics assets in collaboration with legal, compliance and quality assurance teams.
- Manage multifunctional and multicultural team.
- Develop and manage the annual budget for the department.
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field.
- Academic qualification or professional training and experience in legal and regulatory areas.
- 10+ years of business experience, ideally in business management or IT management.
- 10+ years of people management.
- Broad business experience and preferably within the energy industry.
- 5+ years of leadership experience in leading cross-functional teams, multidisciplinary environments across the organization and within complex contexts.
- Experience in integrating complex, cross-corporate processes and information strategies.
- Experience in designing strategic key performance indicators and scorecards.
