- Serves as Grant Manager to assigned subrecipient agreements from award to close-out.
- Perform preliminary document reviews, facilitate the tracking of agreements through the department review, approval, execution, and close-out processes.
- Works with subrecipients to draft, complete, or approve project scope of work.
- Ensures subrecipients are completing all required documentation to meet established minimum compliance standards.
- Conducts desktop and onsite monitoring on activities and expenditures of assigned projects to ensure compliance with state guidelines and contract requirements.
- Facilitates bi-weekly calls with subrecipients to ensure project moves in a timely manner.
- Creates agendas and minutes for bi-weekly subrecipient calls.
- Maintains file for each subrecipient and program to provide State and Federal audit support.
- Notifies direct line of report of any challenges or obstacles.
- Approves reimbursement requests through SERA.
- Compiles and verifies information for weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports.
- Other duties as required.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments and effectively handle multiple tasks to complete assignments on time.
- Working knowledge in managing federal, state, and/or local grants or contracts.
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with internal and external partners.
- Ability to interpret statutes, administrative rules, and federal regulations and explain these requirements.
- Possess effective verbal and written communication skills, including good public speaking ability.
- Ability to problem-solve, organize, and complete assignments with attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and on a team.
