Job Description:Oldham County Stone - Rogers Group Inc - Crestwood, KYFull-TimeNight Shift - approximate shift times of 4 p.m. - 2 a.m.Starting pay for entry level night shift Maintenance Lead candidates is $30/hr. This includes a $26/hr. base pay + $4/hr. shift differential. Overall pay will be determined based on the candidate's experience level and skill set.Oldham County Stone is an underground limestone mine/quarry seeking an experienced Maintenance Lead for our operation located in Crestwood, KY. We also offer a variety of safety equipment, paid holidays, and paid vacations.The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but not limited to:
Routine equipment/plant maintenance
Lead a maintenance team of 2-4 people
Operating production equipment
Involved with plant improvement projects
Inspect and perform daily repairs and maintenance on plant
Inspect and maintain crushers, conveyors, screens, and other equipment
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Must have a dedication to safe work practices
Previous industrial maintenance experience is required.
Mechanical aptitude/ability to diagnose and perform plant repairs as needed
Must be willing to work a regular 4 pm-2 am shift
Must be willing to work overtime and weekends as needed
Experience in heavy equipment is preferred
Working knowledge of quarry utilities and equipment including crushers, conveyors, scales, etc.
Experience welding and cutting
Must be willing to work outside in a variety of conditions
Must pass pre-employment drug screening
