These positions are for school age programs. Positions are temporary for the duration of the summer program only.The CCIU is currently offering a $600 bonus for Summer Special Education Teachers who work the entirety of the ESY program with no absences, including half-days or early dismissals.Schedule: (may vary slightly depending on program) Bancroft Elementary School
- 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM (4 hours a day)
- Monday - Thursday
- 7:30 AM - 11:30 PM (4 hours a day)
- Monday - Thursday
- Valid PDE certification in Special Education or related field required or willingness to become emergency certified in special education
- Current police, child abuse and FBI fingerprint clearances required.
- Must be able to work entire ESY session.
- Experience working with Special Education Students preferred.
Applicant will be expected to develop and implement an individual instructional program for students.Hourly Rate: (Based on Years of Experience)0-13 years experience= $37.00 per hour
14-28 years experience= $42.00 per hour
29+ years experience= $47.00 per hourLocations:
Bancroft Elementary- Kennett Square, PA (K-5)
Kennett High School- Kennett Square, PA (6-12)Our programs include:
