Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Contractor/Scientific Writer to join our team. As a global role, you will be responsible for creating scientific (top of funnel) marketing content to support our Liquid Handling and Genomics product line. Your expertise in laboratory automation, genomics, next generation sequencing, drug discovery screening, synthetic biology, multi-omics, cell-line development, and high-throughput screening will be invaluable in generating engaging and informative content. Responsibilities: - Create scientific marketing content, including LinkedIn posts, email nurture series, and repurposing/re-writing of existing scientific content such as interviews, application notes, and scientific posters - Develop content that effectively communicates the features, benefits, and applications of our Liquid Handling and Genomics products - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Product Management, and Scientific Affairs to gather information and insights - Conduct in-depth research on scientific topics and stay up to date with industry trends and advancements - Ensure accuracy and scientific integrity of all content produced - Adapt content for different channels and target audiences to maximize impact - Work closely with regional marketing teams to align content strategies and localization efforts Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a scientific field (Master's or PhD preferred) - Proven experience in scientific writing, preferably in a marketing or communications role - Strong knowledge and expertise in laboratory automation, genomics, next generation sequencing, drug discovery screening, synthetic biology, multi-omics, cell-line development, and high-throughput screening - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences - Proficiency in conducting scientific research and synthesizing information from multiple sources - Familiarity with scientific content creation for digital platforms, such as LinkedIn and email marketing - Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines Join our team and contribute to our mission of advancing scientific knowledge and improving laboratory workflows through compelling scientific marketing content.
