Owns the vision of the Warehousing and Transportation product, its definition, and the associated value. • Is accountable for building and sustaining the backlog, arbitrating among different needs and priorities, and the delivery and performance of the IT Warehousing and Transportation technologies. • Ensures consistency between the needs of end-users and stakeholders as reflected in the vision of the product, its delivery, and its deployment & adoption. • Understands the business needs and translates them into the backlog with the support of Product Analyst(s), envisioning different solutions to those needs. • Evaluates the costs and benefits of different options with input from the product squad to optimize value creation. Owns the cost model of the product. • Prioritizes, plans, and communicates on the steps identified to deliver the product. • Handles simultaneously product discovery and delivery in an adaptative, incremental and iterative manner. • Establishes partnership with leading technology providers. • Defines, implements, and actively uses actionable KPIs to manage the reach and quality of IT Warehousing and Transportation technologies and to identify potential risks and opportunities Impact on Business Results Contributes to business results by delivering IT Warehousing and Transportation Products with high value for the organization, unlocking new capabilities and ensuring high quality IT delivery. The success of the Warehousing and Transportation Products will be measured through the following KPIs: • Portfolio coverage: Percentage of business functions with their needs fulfilled or mapped in a backlog • Sprint velocity: Amount of work performed by the Warehousing and Transportation squad in each sprint • Governance reach: Percentage of Warehousing and Transportation Product documented and published Process & Projects • IT Warehousing and Transportation Technologies & processes • Technology products and platforms, such: SAP MM, SAP LE, SAP WM, 3rd party WMS Systems, 3PL(3rd Party Logistics) Systems with understanding of 3PL Processes and 3PL EDI flow with SAP/ERPs • TMS(Transportation Management systems with understanding of EDI flows with SAP/ERP) • Agile frameworks and delivery models People Management Responsibilities: • The Product Owner will manage one or several internal or external Product Analysts (as part of the product ownership group) acting as a Servant Leader for the benefit of the Product Team and the Organization and driving the Product Team’s work through the product’s backlog (content and prioritization).Bachelor’s or master's degree within a Business IT or Computer Science related discipline or equivalent combination of education, training and experience is required • 8+ years of demonstrated experience delivering IT Warehousing and Transportation technologies • Demonstrated Experience with one or multiple Technology products and platforms, such: SAP MM, SAP LE, SAP WM, 3rd party WMS Systems, 3PL Systems with understanding of 3PL Processes and 3PL EDI flow with SAP/ERPs.
