- Maintain a professional and presentable appearance at all times that is in compliance with GOAT Group's uniform standards.
- Assist in reviewing POST Orders for your assigned facility.
- Ensure that all aspects of POST Orders are in place, monitored, and enforced.
- Assist in enforcing the facility-level IIPP Program, Emergency Evacuation Procedures, and the Fire Prevention Program.
- Assist with access control compliance, the visitor program, and access card audits.
- Thoroughly examine and record logistics carrier information in accordance with CTPAT compliance standards where applicable.
- Complete opening/closing checklists and communicate findings.
- Support the local management team with any planned and/or special events.
- Control entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles according to GOAT Group Policy.
- Conduct thorough package inspections, including jackets/coats anytime employees are exiting the facility (warehouse/retail store).
- Monitor all surveillance cameras.
- Document unlawful/suspicious activities.
- Review CCTV footage to document after-hours building opening/closing procedures.
- Assist in the process of evicting trespassers and violators and detain perpetrators while following legal protocols before relevant authorities arrive at the scene.
- Be trusted to make smart decisions, consistent with applicable guidance and policies, requiring good judgment both proactively and reactively.
- Any other duties as assigned by Asset Protection, Workplace Services, and/or Operations.
- A motivated and team-oriented individual with one or more years of Distribution Center and/or Retail store experience. This includes the following:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Security Guard and/or Asset Protection experience preferred
- Audit and compliance experience preferred
- Ability to coach and train team members
- Ability to confidently handle personal and/or sensitive information
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the evolving needs of the business to include nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to complete expected responsibilities under minimal supervision
- Planned/unplanned overtime may be required
- CCTV, NVR, Google Suite, Excel, Powerpoint, and IOS experience is a plus for this position, but not required.
- Ability to work in a typical warehouse or retail environment. This could include dust, fluctuating temperatures, and extended time frames of sitting, standing, and/or walking.
