Welcome to a workplace as extraordinary as the landscape that surrounds it!OverviewJob Overview:The reservation agent will be the first point of contact for our guests, assisting them with reservations, providing information about our facilities and services, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant booking experience. This position requires excellent communication skills, a passion for customer service, and a desire to contribute to a premier hospitality experience.Job Specification:Onsite: Black Desert ResortShift & Schedule Availability: Year Round / Full TimeThe budgeted range starts at $15 - $16. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.Job Responsibilities including but not limited to:
  • Handle incoming calls and emails for room reservations, modifications, and cancellations.
  • Provide detailed information about resort amenities, services, room types, and rates.
  • Use the reservations system to check availability and book reservations accurately.
  • Assist guests with special requests and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with other resort departments to ensure guest requirements are met.
  • Process reservation-related paperwork and maintain accurate records.
  • Follow up on guest bookings and confirmations.
  • Identify and maximize room sales opportunities to enhance revenue.
  • Address and resolve any issues or concerns that arise during the reservation process.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of resort events, promotions, and policies.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in customer service or reservations is preferred but not required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and ability to learn reservation management software.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Compensation RangeThe compensation for this position is $15.00/Hr. - $16.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
