- Promote a clean, safe, healthy and friendly work environment for employees and guests; report and direct safety issues to Safety Committee.
- Perform routine maintenance, equipment repair or exchange.
- Perform EGM jackpot verification.
- Assure Title 31 compliance.
- Monitor routine floor operations, perform preventive maintenance, complete service orders and support other departments with technical assistance as requested.
- Maintain knowledge of promotional events.
- Access the EGM main door to observe game functi.on, inspect game error codes, perform paper changes as required, clear paper jams and detect and repair malfunctions
- This position may perform routine drop detail functions as scheduled.
- Promote general casino activities and promotions including special events, advertised specials and marketing promotions for non-gaming areas.
- Must be able to utilize electronic diagnostic equipment.
- Perform advanced repair analysis of technical problems.
- Act as support staff for Slot Ambassadors.
- Assist in on-going training and development of Slot Techs and Slot Ambassadors.
- Assist with casino equipment moves, installs and conversions.
- Other duties as assigned.
- This position requires the ability to safely work with hand operated and electric tools. Previous repair or electronic maintenance skills are required, with preference given to electronic degree or work experience equivalent.
- The position of Slot Tech III will be expected to regularly perform multi-tasking, personal organization and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- 4 years repair or electronic maintenance skills are required, with emphasis on multi-tasking, personal organization and ability to work in a fast paced environment. May substitute two (2) years technical training in electronic repair or maintenance.
- Teamwork, self-motivation and maintenance of confidentiality are expected on a daily basis. The Slot Tech III is expected to maintain an orderly work environment and comply with all required policies and procedures.
- Must be able to work independently on routine projects
- Must be able to read electronic schematics and utilize repair manuals
- Must pass and remain in compliance with Coquille Gaming Commission background check and drug free work place policies.
