- Talent Acquisition - collaborates with the recruiting team to enter all new hire information.
- Onboarding /offboarding - coordinates onboarding process, processes new hire paperwork and I9s, ensures all required exit paperwork is complete and entered in our systems.
- Employee relations and Compliance – respond to unemployment claims and employment verification requests, interpret Shawmut policies in response to employee inquiries.
- Employee record maintenance – maintain confidential employee records, assist with reporting.
- Performance Management and Training Programs – assist in planning, tracking and coordinating training and performance management activities.
- Develop a deep understanding of Shawmut’s culture, our people processes and state/federal regulations.
- 1-2 years of human resources administration experience a must, includes any co-op or internships in human resources.
- BS/BA degree required
- Ability to multi-task and remain focused in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to exhibit a high degree of confidentiality, judgement and professionalism
- Strong communication skills with ability to interface across all levels
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel is expected
- Energetic, can-do attitude; ability to work both independently and within teams
- Attention to detail / strong organizational skills
