- Programming in Python, C and/or C++
- Network protocols
- Understanding electronic schematics
- Using test & measurement equipment
- Must be a USU student with at least one year remaining. Preference will be given to those pursuing a computer engineering, electrical engineering, Physics or computer science degree. Other closely related technical degrees will also be considered
- Must be able to work 15-20 hours/week during the school year and up to 40 hours/week during the summer, preferably in 4+ hour blocks of time
- Experience with Python, C/C++ and/or Java
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing
- Must be consistently detail-oriented, organized, and attentive to detail
- Able to work well individually and as part of a team
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance
- Experience creating detailed reports.
- Experience with Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket
- Willingness to learn about and use a wide array of technologies, different programming languages, and complex systems
