This is mahi that will improve the health and well-being of everyone in Aotearoa, and we've got an opportunity for you to be part of it.Ngā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)Applications are invited for one permanent, full-time Advanced Emergency Medicine Registrar position based at Nelson Hospital, New Zealand, working 80 hours per fortnight. Applicants need to be Advanced Trainees registered with the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine.Health NZ Nelson Marlborough is a 185 bed general hospital located at the top of the South Island of New Zealand. The Emergency Department (ED) currently sees over 31,000 patients per year and is accredited for 6 months of Rural/Regional training by ACEM. The case mix is varied and covers the entire spectrum of emergency medicine including trauma and paediatrics.You will join a highly motivated and experienced team that includes seven emergency physicians and 5 other experienced ED senior medical officers, dedicated nursing staff and allied health.Some non-ED runs may be available and include Cardiology, Orthopaedics and General Medicine.There will be emergency roster shift patterns - AM, mid, PM and night shifts plus weekend shifts.Ko wai he kaitono tōtika?
