- Review SOW and RFP documents to assess project implementation impact on overall Cybersecurity posture
- Collaborate with vendor system suppliers to ensure the handoff of cybersecurity IT and OT systems
- Perform “hardening” assessments of new and upgraded systems to ensure the principle of least functionality is implemented. Perform system hardening activities to ensure systems meet the required levels of security
- Perform system administrator role within air-gapped stand-alone networks
- Perform security engineering estimates and assist with system configurations
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree* in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Risk Management or IT related field preferred
- 3 years of IT Security or System Administrator experience including system configuration and provisioning
- Minimum of 1 certification from the following:
- CompTIA Security+
- Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Certified Information Systems Manager (CISM)
- Certified Ethical Hacking (CEH)
- GIAC Information Security Professional (GISP)
- Knowledge of information security concepts and technologies such as networking, network segmentation, vulnerability scanners, firewalls, IPS\IDS, network analysis tools, data loss prevention, security event management, encryption technologies, proxies, cloud services, mobile devices, etc.
- Ability to install, administer, and maintain at least one of the following server environments:
- VMware ESXi
- Microsoft Hyper-V
- Linux
- Windows Server
- Able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance level 'Secret'.
- This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required
- This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
- This position requires successful vetting for unescorted access in accordance with U.S. Army and Department of Defense access policies.
