The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, with at least 5 years of experience in product development. You will be responsible for improving with a design to value approach products related to swimming pools, using your skills in design, analysis, and prototyping.Your responsibilities:
  • Improve existing products with a design to value approach.
  • Responsible of performance, quality, validation and cost of improved products.
  • Use SolidWorks to create 3D models and drawings.
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Conduct laboratory and field tests to validate designs.
  • Creation and monitoring of schedules in collaboration with Program Manager Office.
  • Creation and monitoring of quality KPIs, FMEA and DVT in collaboration with Quality Department.
  • Technical support for industrialization activity.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need a positive attitude and the following:
  • Master's degree in mechanical or industrial design engineering.
  • Proved experience on plastic part design and plastics injection.
  • 5+ years of experience in research and development departments.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design and analysis.
  • Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD software.
  • Knowledge of sealing and submerged or pressurized products is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English.
  • Passion for excellence and end-user focus about usability and ergonomics.
