- Lead development of sales strategies for net-new pursuits with Fortune 500 companies
- Close new business deals after initial meetings with potential new clients
- Ability to sell digitally native marketing strategies, data-driven marketing, performance media, social, and martech capabilities
- Accountable for win/loss ratio and healthy business development financials
- Developing relentless, collaborative, unbeatable business development team
- Creating the culture of learning, honing and optimizing in order to drive growth
- Responsible for productive relationships with pitch consultants and other key ecosystem partners to drive leads
- Build a library of selling assets and best practices
- Ability to represent and sell-in the full suite of Razorfish and other services that are offered across Publicis Groupe
- Cultivate business relationships through networking, industry events and outbound marketing
- Successful track record (10+years) of building business for a digital agency, marketing transformation or digital business transformation consultancy
- Strong knowledge of constructing customer journeys, performance marketing, data-driven optimization, martech platforms, digital marketing transformation, advertising channels, social, etc.
- Must have experience with multi-nationals and global brands with complex marketing needs that could require global/local alignment and collaboration
- Ability to speak to all levels of prospective clients: strategic and tactical decision makers
- Proven experience in building and leading a cross-functional team in the pitch/BD process
- Best of the best writing and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to take a consultative approach to engaging with C-level digital marketing or marketing transformation executives
- Ability to reach across the cross-functional aisles and the various capability groups across the organization in order to drive more wins
- Is a team player and master collaborator to drive consensus, alignment and decision making quickly
- Ability to coach and mentor junior business development and account management team members
- Ability to understand macro business issues and articulate value generating opportunities supported Razorfish capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
