As a member of our Transportation and Fleet Operations team, you'll grow your future, advance your career, and learn from a caring community that wants to see you succeed.Title: Pricing InternshipLocation: Charlotte, NCWhat Will You Do?As a Logistics Pricing Intern, you will ensure that team leaders and peers are provided with timely, accurate, and effective support in response to pricing inquiries, customer questions, and preparation of financial documentation. You will be analyzing the financial profitability of Ashley Companies.You will coordinate with and support both Ashley Distribution Services (ADS) and Ashley Logistics Solutions (ALS) operations teams with confidential and proprietary information as part of cross-functional teams.Our Logistics Pricing Intern:
  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Project Management, or Automotive related field from an accredited university
  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program and able to provide proof of current or future enrollment.
  • Excellent communication skills with various internal and external stakeholders at different levels of seniority
  • Self-motivated, critical thinker, and team player who can perform well in fast-paced environments.
  • Eager and capable of learning, improving, and upholding high standards.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
What do you need?
  • Candidates pursuing a bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, including lookups and pivot tables.
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and collaborate with individuals across departments and localities.
  • Highly motivated to learn, with an interest in Finance and business operations.
