- 4-year degree from an accredited university in business management, marketing, or related field and/or 5 years of agricultural industry experience.
- Knowledge of potato production practices and marketing is preferred.
- Excellent ability to work autonomously and actively manage customers, suppliers, and employees.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and Power BI.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
- Manage sales and business strategy for the North American potato market.
- Build and develop strong customer relationships in key potato growing regions.
- Manage product inventory and demand to maximize potential sales and minimize risk.
- Travel to customer locations and trade shows as necessary.
- Collaborate with Business Manager to develop pricing and supply guidelines.
- Understand commercial potato production.
- Develop and keep a sales budget for travel, business development and marketing.
