- Support the preparation, review, filing, and payment of US federal, state direct, and international tax compliance processes (including but not limited to forms 1120, 5471, 5472, 8865, 8892, etc.).
- Utilize Thomson Reuters's OneSource platform for efficient tax compliance management.
- Assist in the preparation of the global tax provision, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather necessary information for tax compliance processes.
- Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify potential tax planning opportunities.
- Assist in tax audits and inquiries, providing necessary documentation and support as required.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement enhancements to streamline tax compliance processes.
- Ad hoc tax projects as required or as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Taxation, Finance, or related field. CPA or advanced degree preferred.
- At least five (5) years of experience in tax accounting or related field, preferably in a multinational corporation or public accounting firm with multinational clients, or a master's degree and three (3) years of professional experience.
- Sound technical knowledge and practical experience dealing with US federal and international tax issues for multinational corporations.
- Experience using Thomson Reuters's OneSource platform or similar tax compliance software.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail and with ability to research tax law and apply relevant tax law to specific fact patterns.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and “hands-on” environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proactive mindset with a continuous improvement orientation.
- Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment
- Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal
- Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday
- Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties
