- System Installations: Expertly install power supply wiring and conduit including O-CAL, Rigid conduit, MC cable, strut, and cable trays.
- Equipment Handling: Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of a range of electrical systems, from switch gears and electrical panels to motor controls and conveyor systems.
- Circuit Management: Conduct rigorous testing of electrical systems or continuity of circuits using devices such as multimeters, ohmmeters, and voltmeters to ascertain system compatibility and safety.
- Blueprint Analysis: Master the art of reading blueprints, running and bending conduit, wiring devices, and performing quality control testing.
- Diagnostic Expertise: Showcase acumen in troubleshooting various electrical systems and power distribution systems, ensuring their optimal functionality.
- Problem Isolation: Take charge of running tests and isolating problems, performing other tasks as necessary to maintain system efficiency.
- Layout Planning: Plan and execute the layout of conduit, wiring, and electrical apparatus in buildings seamlessly, demonstrating a meticulous approach to installation processes.
- Leadership in Training: Help with the training of apprentices, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
- Self-Driven: Capable of leading various projects independently, showcasing self-reliance and expertise in the field.
- Educational Background: High School diploma or GED; higher education in an electrical program is desirable.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ expertise in the industry.
- Licensing: A valid state-issued Journeyman license.
- Dedicated Learner: A candidate with a growth mindset, willing to evolve and adapt to the ever-changing dynamics of the electrical industry.
- Time-Management: An individual who embodies punctuality, ensuring that timelines are respected and met diligently.
- OSHA10 (or required to complete with T.E.M.).
- Kentucky Electrical License (EE or ME).
- Familiarity with PLC field wiring and motor control systems.
- Previous experience working with a team and mentoring apprentices.
