We are looking to add a Senior IT Support Specialist to our growing near shore team.In this role, the IT Help Desk Technician will be required to have proficiency in formulating IT strategies, communication, and resource planning to support business units demands and consumption of IT services across the organization. They'll also be responsible for user support functions for a large US based team. Responsibilities:
  • Perform all IT Service Desk duties including (but not limited to):
  • On-/Off-boarding of employees and contractors
  • Typical user support functions for desktop (macOS and Windows)
  • Implement identity and access management policies and procedures
  • Maintain the IT Service Desk ticketing system
  • Ability to analyze, diagnose, and resolve end-user technical support issues remotely, including educating users on best practices when required.
  • Assist in development, maintenance, and improvement of internal processes and procedures.
  • Manage internal support documentation in accordance with company and industry standards.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for platform support.
  • Participate in other activities and projects within the team and company with exposure beyond the help desk ticketing system.
Desired Skills:
  • Strong organizational skills: ability to manage multiple projects with competing demands for resources.
  • Proven experience in modernizing production environments to deliver higher resilience, availability, and disaster recovery capabilities.
  • Proficiency in process formulation and communication.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (B2 minimum)
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL and ITSM Processes.
  • Strong understanding of application life cycle Processes.
  • Strong understanding of traditional and Cloud operational processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in working with various geographically diverse associates and vendor partners throughout Latin American and the United States.
  • Demonstrated on-time and on-budget system delivery skills and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of organization policies and procedures.
