This position will adhere to all Partnership policies and procedures and operate within its budget set forth annually by the Partnership. This position is located in Midland Texas.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supervise the day-to-day facility operations to meet required production rates and monitor operating data to minimize problems and downtime.
  • Monitors administration of company policy and standard operating procedures.
  • Evaluates employee performance and goal achievement.
  • Responsible for review of and implementation of Midland Terminal and Gathering expense and capital budgets.
  • Provide guidance to resolve operational problems as required.
  • Works unified with shared service departments to maintain consistency with all areas of business and maximize the benefits of all departments.
  • Supports capital projects through project commissioning activities.
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state and local regulations, and company policy.
Requirements: Education and/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below.
  • Broad and varied experience in the maintenance and operations of pipelines.
  • Must be able to perform in a fast-paced ever-changing environment, and simultaneously manage numerous activities at once.
  • Sound technical, operational, administrative, and maintenance judgment and decision-making skills are required.
  • Proven ability to manage large numbers of employees.
  • HS Diploma or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of crude terminal operations experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills required.
Preferred Experience:
  • Familiar with regulatory guidelines of government agencies and with the Incident Command System concerning emergency response.
  • Previous experience as Incident Commander.
  • Relative pipeline and tank terminal experience.
  • Experience staffing and hiring field teams.
Special Considerations:
  • This position will be responsible for supporting the hiring and staffing process for the entire terminal facility and pipeline segments
  • Position subject to being on call 24 hours, 7 days per week.
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations as required.
  • The position is subject to travel throughout Texas and New Mexico.

  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
