Curtis Media Group is looking to hire a full time Producer/ Content Creator in our Raleigh, NC office. This individual will work on-site.The Digital Content Creator will handle various aspects of both maintaining and creating content for several websites with the ability to cross-promote via broadcast and print media.This position requires someone who has the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while also being able to handle research and data entry tasks.This position will require a significant amount of writing, and a successful candidate must possess exemplary writing skills and attention to detail.This is a 24-hour publication, and the position requires a flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends, and some holidays.Additional duties may be assigned.Position requirements include the following:

Basic knowledge of Wordpress
Adherence to AP Style
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively
Positive attitude
Flexible schedule
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Ability to take direction
Knowledge of copyright laws
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
Ability to multi-task and handle constantly evolving deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to handle some mundane tasks, like data entry
Ability to research
Working knowledge of social media
Knowledge of graphics software (even soft graphics) and audio/video software is a plus
