Complete accounting agenda for one or more entities, depending on size
Regular postings of journals in GL (salaries, banks, incoming invoices, accruals etc.)
Supervision of balance sheet accounts, reviews, reconciliations,
Keep alignment with the company business controlling measurement
Partner for controlling activities of these entities (oversee the whole picture)
Planning, preparation of payments in home banking systems
Monitoring of cash flow situation and planning liquidity
Main point of contact for entity to other stakeholders internally and externally
Communication with external finance and tax advisors from local markets with the aim to ensure the compliance with local GAAPs and tax requirements
Handle supporting documents for tax returns (VAT and CIT) as well for local statistics and other local mandatory reports
Communication with external auditor statutory year end closing (supporting documentation, expert for delivery needed explanation

Requirements

Highly appreciated degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Experience in accounting ideally in company with international environment, 3 -4 years required
Languages: fluent English, other European language is a big plus
Knowledge of ERP systems, especially accounting related modules
Understanding of numbers, an eye for details
Excel knowledge on average level
Good communication skills, need to cooperate with other people within finance team and other internal teams
Knowledge of Czech accounting standards/ other local legislation within European countries is an advantage
Keen to learn and gain more experience in finance field
