This software company is rapidly growing their client base!Software Implementation Consultant / Application Support EngineerMy South Dublin based client is looking for mid level and Senior Implementation Consultant to join their growing team. This software company is rapidly growing their client base and as a result they have plans to increase their headcount by 25% over the next year. The role will require 2 days on site and 3 days from home.My client is looking for Senior Implementation Consultant (Application Support) to provide functional and technical support to their high profile customers. Ideal for a customer-facing professional with strong technical / application support experience and excellent SQL and data migration skills.Job Responsibilities

Provide both functional and technical consultation to customers about a diverse range of software solutions.
Play a key role in each stage of the software implementation process, including: pre/post sales, design, customisation, deployment, and ongoing technical support.
Communicate with customers to elicit business requirements, demonstrate prototypes, make recommendations, and provide training.
Gain an in-depth understanding of a broad range of solutions in order to advise the best solutions for customer needs.
Collaborate with Sales and Development teams to exchange information about ongoing updates and assure the solution is delivered to the customer's expectations.
Drive the delivery of projects by maintaining awareness of budgets, deadlines, updates, potential risks, and changes to the project schedule.

Experience Required

Minimum 3-4 years of commercial experience in system implementation, application support, or technical support roles
Excellent customer-facing experience with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Strong experience in SQL and data migration
Some Scripting programming skills required
General IT networking skills nice to have

Essential and Desirable Skills

Fluent English and excellent communication skills
Strong SQL and database skills
Comfortable providing technical support and dealing with customers
Sound knowledge of business applications and how they fix business problems
Keen interest in solving problems and learning new technologies
