You’ll work closely with partners in business, design, and project management, and you’ll serve a team that is equally capable of giving and receiving technical guidance.What you’ll do:
  • Lead and manage the app shell & web page authoring teams to build modern, well-architected cloud application that powers both web and mobile apps, leveraging powerful back-end technologies and Artificial Intelligence to build Adobe magic. These teams are responsible for three important areas of Adobe Express:
  • Experience of
application, from the pages new users see when they visit the site, to the logged-in user experience. * Core modules - Application Header, footer, navigation, routing, service worker, access & entitlements for Adobe Express.
– Experience in allowing users to build single- webpages for portfolios, resumes, etc. * Guide team through research, technical design, implementation, delivery, and maintenance of the application.
  • Maintain effective communication and collaboration with partner teams, both local and remote, in completing interdependent work items
  • Influence design decisions and technical direction for engineers, QE, product managers, user experience designers, and senior leaders
  • Ensure transparency of project status to partners
  • Lead each team member’s performance, employing ongoing performance feedback and coaching.
  • Work with each team member in identifying and making progress toward career development goals.
  • Incentivize quality code and effective communication.
  • Partner with designers and business leaders to provide a best-in-class customer experience.
  • Engage with customers to understand problems, test ideas, and refine workflows.
  • Promote modern technical standards.
  • Hire and train new engineers.
  • Write code samples, prototypes, and pseudocode to guide implementation.
What you need to succeed:
  • At least 10 years of engineering experience, with a minimum of 5+ years of managing engineers.
  • BA/BS or MS in computer science, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong technical background with expertise in Typescript/Javascript, Web Components, Micro front-end architecture, and mono-repo.
  • Knowledge of test frameworks, code coverage, and static code analysis tools
  • Consistent record of successful execution of the complete software development lifecycle
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and maintain a high degree of technical involvement with your team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with people at all levels.
  • Ambition and passion for building world-class productivity workflows.
  • Experience leading or participating in agile software development.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $146,300 -- $281,100 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.
