- Build a database of qualified leads to develop sales opportunities within existing customer accounts and new business prospects.
- Generate and qualify leads for new prospects and qualify inbound leads from inquiries, quote submissions, tradeshows, etc.
- Provide sales quotes and process and enter orders. Draft, edit, and deliver clear, organized written proposals. Follow up with customers and team members regarding orders.
- Employ customer service skills and strategies to proactively identify and address customers' needs. Collaborate with the sales team to respond to and/or route prospect or customer concerns.
- Track all leads, prospects, customers, and quotes using Zoho CRM software to ensure maximum market penetration, assist with follow-up, and maintain organization of Trucent sales opportunities.
- Ensure that internal communications between Sales, Engineering, and Production are maintained effectively to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Grow and improve lead generation and customer service skills to potentially transition to an outside sales role using the database of prospects and customers one has built.
- Perform other related duties or special projects.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics.
- A bachelor's degree in business or a technical degree is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in sales or customer service role.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a high aptitude for providing excellent customer service.
- Strong organizational skills. Must demonstrate the capacity to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and in a timely manner.
- Ability to develop clear written proposals that capture all critical components of the sale.
- Possess an energetic, self-motivated, and collaborative attitude.
- Detail-oriented work practices.
- Capability to work well in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, professional environment.
- Intermediate to advanced computer & software skills.
- Chemical background a plus
- Limited Travel Requirements (<5%)
