- Performing layout and survey related activities on multiple projects daily.
- Keeping accurate and legible documentation of all tasks performed.
- Operation and maintenance of GNSS, Robotic total station, auto level and other surveying tools or measuring devices.
- Coordinating with project Superintendents, Foreman and Subcontractors relating to project schedule and needs.
- Utilizing construction drawings to provide layout and cross check calculations made by office personnel.
- Setting up and checking in Machine Control linked equipment (GNSS and RTS).
- Training and Mentoring team members.
- Adherence to the work site safety program; identify and report any unsafe behavior on the site or hazardous conditions.
- Assisting with traffic control and other project signage.
- 2-5 years of construction layout or land surveying experience in a supervisory role.
- 5 years of experience in the construction industry.
- Survey related expertise in multiple forms of civil and commercial construction including but not limited to heavy & light roadway, aboveground & underground utilities, industrial, piling, bridges, building foundations.
- Proficiency in Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry.
- Proficiency in Trimble (Siteworks) or equivalent, MS Office, Procore.
- Ability to prioritize and execute tasks efficiently, and with precision.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
- Must have a reliable source of transportation.
