- Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of complex IT systems and solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing systems, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
- Develop detailed system specifications, including architecture, functionality, and integration requirements.
- Design and execute test plans to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of systems.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering professional growth and development.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices, evaluating emerging technologies for potential adoption.
- Proactively identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance system performance.
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of systems.
- Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience preferably with studies in Information Technology, Computer Science or Business Administration
- Knowledge in systems analysis, programming and systems development methodology.
- Must possess strong communication, interpersonal and project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, as the position requires direct communication with end users and business leaders.
- Must be comfortable working in a team environment.
- Ability to travel occasionally, possibly overnight, to any customer area, which could be any Company facility or to a remote site or to a training facility or conference.
- Strong SQL knowledge is required.
- Proficiency in software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- Experience in VB.NET, Python, R, Dataiku, Snowflake and Power BI
- Experience with Commodity Trading and Risk Management (CTRM) systems
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management
- Experience with DycoTrade CTRM
- Experience with Salesforce
- Knowledge of Data Analytics concepts and tools is a plus
- Prior use of Jira software
- Understanding of agricultural business industry and processes
- Work activity is in an office, open-partitioned, cubicle environment.
- When in a plant environment:
- Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces.
- May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degree to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity.
- May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit.
- May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db.
- May be exposed to all chemicals found in poultry, food and processing plant.
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
