Position Summary/Purpose of Position:Description:
We are seeking a motivated Website Design Intern to join the xFoundry team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in web design while contributing to real projects. As a Website Design Intern, you will work closely with our marketing team to assist in designing, developing, and maintaining our organization's website.Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the design and content teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly web pages using Webflow.
  • Assist in creating website layouts, templates, and components within the Webflow platform.
  • Implement design concepts and brand guidelines to ensure consistency across the website.
  • Update website content, including text, images, and multimedia assets, as needed.
  • Contribute to website optimization efforts to improve site performance.
Minimum Qualifications:Education:
  • Currently enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student at the University of Maryland with a focus on web development, design, UX, or a related field.
Experience:
  • Experience with content management systems (e.g., Webflow).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices.
