- Financial and Non-Financial Consolidation: Lead the process of aggregating data from multiple subsidiaries to create consolidated financial and non-financial statements that accurately reflect the group's financial/ESG position, performance, and cash flows.
- Reporting Excellence: Develop and manage a streamlined reporting framework that encompasses regular financial statements, management reports, variance analysis, and other relevant financial metrics. Ensure the delivery of insightful and actionable information to guide strategic initiatives.
- Accounting and ESG Reporting Standards Compliance: Stay up-to-date with evolving standards and regulations. Ensure that the group's reporting adheres to the latest industry norms, such as Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) or International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).
- Take responsibility for all other regulatory reporting requirements (e.g. ÖNB, other authorities)
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance teams, and executives, to gather relevant financial data and align reporting processes with organizational goals. Engage with external auditors and regulators as needed to facilitate audits and regulatory reporting.
- Process Enhancement: Continuously evaluate and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of group reporting processes. Implement automation and technology solutions where appropriate to streamline data collection, validation, and reporting procedures.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including finance, legal, sustainability, IR and compliance, to ensure alignment between financial reporting and overall corporate objectives.
- Drives engagement through creating a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives
- Builds effective teams through Building strong-identity teams that apply their diverse skills and perspectives to achieve common goals
- Leading a multi-national team of experienced experts
- Bachelor's or master's degree in finance/Accounting, or similar education
- At least 7 years of relevant work experience in finance
- Excellent Knowledge of IFRS and audit processes (YE audit, enforcement)
- Certified Public Auditor exam passed desired
- Experience and excellent knowledge of PPA and pre- and post- merger practices
- Experienced in Analysis of Balance Sheet and P/L, including mergers, liquidations, capital increase/decrease after tax analysis
- Experience in non-financial reporting and good knowledge of relevant regulatory framework
- Strong understanding of complex financial structures, intercompany transactions, and multi-entity consolidations
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices within financial reporting functions
- IT affinity, experience in SAP (FI & CO)
- Excellent command in German and English
- High degree of accuracy and affinity to figures
