Senior Functional Test Analyst12 months initiallyRemote from IrelandWe are seeking a Sr. Functional Test analyst to join one of the Irish Public Sector bodies.The Test Team is seeking a new resource, which will be required to perform test design, scripting, and execution for their prioritised projects to enable the team to perform its required tasks. The resource will also be required to work with the business for project demonstrations and coordinating end user acceptance testing.Key technologies used in the team includes:

CRM Dynamics 365 Scripting: JavaScript, jQuery, ReactJS, Azure DevOps

Responsibilities:

Software test design and execution
Writing and executing test cases
Coordinating the resolution of Software Bugs (Defects)
Collaborating with service-desk staff, developers and other IT staff to resolve 3rd-line support issues.
Knowledge transfer to other members of the team
Advising on potential improvements to the test process
Helping developers and other team members understand test suites and the rationale behind related test techniques
Assisting with the implementation of increased automated and performance testing
Highlighting risks/ quality issues and recommending mitigation strategies
Ensuring consistent test practises across all projects
Work as part of the existing projects and Scrum teams

Mandatory requirement:

A degree in Computer Science in a software-related discipline;
At least 7+ years experience in a Senior level position;

Other relevant experience:

Worked on at least 3 projects revolving MS Dynamics 365 CRM environment;
Previous experience in a legislative environmental sector would be a distinct advantage;
Experience in creating, updating, and implementing Test best practices experience;
Experience working in an Agile environment;
Experience in test planning, estimation, design, execution and assisting with the implementation of test automation;
Experience assisting with reporting investigating and debugging software issues in coordination with Support and Development.
