We are looking for a Senior Planner to be part of our project control group in Archer. The position will include subject responsibility for the planning department.Joining Archer, you will have the possibility to follow several multidiscipline projects across our project portfolio from project start to completion. You will be responsible for maintaining and developing the planning procedures and work processes within the department. Additionally, you will be involved in creating and maintaining project plans to ensure we meet our project targets. The project plans provide support to our engineering manager, project managers and project engineers during the project execution.In this role you will take part in interfacing with our client's planning engineers to ensure Archer and Client's plans are aligned. Quality checks of data in the networks play an important part to ensure that our planning procedures and work processes are effective and consistently applied across the entire planning team. You will together with the team continually seek and suggest areas of improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.Key responsibilities

Develop and maintain project plans: Weekly delivery and update of accurate planning data clearly showing all project deliverables dates, agreed priorities and durations.
AO planning.
Baseline planning, progressing, forecasting and production of associated planning reports, including Gantt charts, 'S' Curves and manning histograms.
Provision of accurate planning information to allow for work prioritisation, scheduling, reporting and resourcing.
Delegate tasks within the planning team.
Point of contact with Safran administrator.

Preferred Education and Experience:

Minimum Bachelor Degree or equivalent within Engineering/ Economics/Business
Long relevant experience and/or additional competence may compensate for lack of formal education
Minimum 3 years` experience as a planner from Oil and Gas industry, preferably from an engineering, construction and/or drilling contractor
Strong user in Safran Project
Knowledge of systems such as SAP, ProArc and IFS

Independent and solution oriented
Effective communication skills at all organizational levels
Fluent in Norwegian and English, both oral and written
