Position Summary:The Senior Analyst, Media & Performance Marketing manages holistic planning across JetBlue's paid media ecosystem for all domestic and international brand advertising, as well as for the JetBlue Co-Brand Card and Loyalty program. The Senior Analyst collaborates closely with the Planning, Insights, and Brand Marketing teams to craft and execute holistic communications plans that drive awareness, engagement, trial and loyalty amongst customers and non-customers of JetBlue.The Senior Analyst is the day-to-day point-of-contact with JetBlue's agency partners as it relates to all paid media and works closely with an internal team in the planning of JetBlue campaigns.Essential Responsibilities:
  • Leading day-to-day discussions with JetBlue Marketing Manager and JetBlue agencies (media and creative) to ensure paid media campaigns are live, correctly optimizing and delivering planned metrics.
  • Assist with media planning process, including brief development, agency communication, tactical recommendation review, internal presentation and approval.
  • Working with internal Promotions team to plan and execute weekly paid social promotions, including planning, execution and reporting.
  • Tracking internal marketing budgets and managing with external media agency. Oversee billing process from budget planning, tracking, invoice review and reconciliation.
  • Partnering with internal creative advertising teams to ensure creative assets correctly match back to approved media channels and tactics.
  • Ensuring paid media campaigns deliver in full, assisting with reporting and analytics follow ups and appropriate learnings are applied to future campaigns.
  • Acting as a paid media and advertising critical voice within JetBlue, maintaining knowledge of platforms and ad tech best practices and analytics.
  • Seeking media innovation through industry trends, discussion with partners and media agency, planning new media opportunities to build best-in-class campaigns.
  • Partnering with JetBlue's agencies and internal stakeholders (Personalization, Marketing Analytics) to help build, implement and optimize a data-driven retail engine that provides personalized experiences with efficiency and scale.
  • Supporting the Manager in the implementation of the paid media strategy to drive revenue through efficient, dynamic, and personalized media buying.
  • Managing all paid social media campaigns, inclusive of strategy, implementation, testing, optimization, trends, and tools.
  • Leading the strategic planning and analytics of JetBlue's proprietary and owned marketing channels, inclusive of the JetBlue.com homepage, in-terminal displays, seatback channel, e-mail, organic social media and more.
  • Serving as an internal workgroup liaison, managing relationships and leading discussions to inform and determine business needs.
  • Managing day-to-day agency relationships.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with the combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
  • Three (3) years of marketing, brand, or advertising experience
  • Deep understanding of performance marketing
  • Deep understanding of digital media landscape and emerging media opportunities
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Understanding of how to manage a budget
  • Creating and analyzing marketing metrics (tactics, budgets and Return on Investment (ROI))
  • Ability to manage advertising agency and other business partners
  • Ability to represent the JetBlue brand with senior business partners
  • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
  • Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
  • Five (5) years' marketing/advertising experience
  • Knowledge of travel industry and competitive landscape
  • Experience managing large-scale cross-functional projects
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Advanced to expert Spanish proficiency

  • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance
  • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

Compensation:
  • The base pay range for this position is between $64,000.00 and $103,100.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue's total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
