ROLE OVERVIEW:As our Operations Fabrication Supervisor/Manager, it is your responsibility to provide leadership for the operations team tasked to efficiently produce quality Tank Liners. Your professionalism, technical knowledge and people management skills will be beneficial in identifying problems, reconciling differences and to put forward solutions to increase the effectiveness of production flow and manufacturing processes.You are people-orientated and adaptable, with an outstanding problem-solving skill set. You have an aptitude for controlling waste management, have a strong focus on quality and are able to delegate, prioritize and work with production to achieve the company’s strategic goals.ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide monthly operational reporting data including, issues, warranties, labor etc.
  • Provide raw material forecasting and fabric testing/qualification.
  • Comply with regulatory ISO reporting and record keeping requirements.
  • Accomplishes manufacturing staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintains staff by assisting in recruiting, selection, induction, and training employees and developing personal growth opportunities.
  • Maintains workflow by monitoring steps of the process; setting processing variables; observing controls points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; studying methods; implementing cost reductions; developing/maintain reporting procedures and systems; facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process; initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
  • Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
  • Works with key personnel to plan, schedule and assign personnel to tasks; accomplishing work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems.
  • Ensures operation of equipment by calling for necessary repairs; assists in evaluating new equipment and techniques.
  • Provides manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data, answering questions, and responding to requests.
  • Resolve personnel problems by investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, training, and reviewing professional publications.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIAQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:Essential:
  • Experience in a similar role which requires exceptional people and product management.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment that involves multiple tasks and continuously shifting priorities
  • Experience working in an environment that requires a problem-solving mindset
  • Experience in understanding and interpreting technical drawings and measurements
  • Ability to retain and recall important information
  • Competent in Microsoft software packages (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Competent at operating within Computer Programs such as ERP systems
  • Strong maths skills and numerical reasoning
  • Rights to work in USA
Preferred but not essential:
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, EPICOR, Data Inventory System)
  • High School Diploma Equivalent Education
  • Diploma / Short Course in relevant field e.g., Leadership/ and or management
  • Demonstrates confidence and maintains professionalism in both verbal and written communication with all levels within and external of the organization.
  • The ability to convey clear messages over various mediums (e.g. phone and email)
  • Be accessible and approachable – responsive to client/production requests
