Headquartered in San Diego, California, with additional offices in the Americas, Europe, and Asia Pacific, the company employs over 8,000 people worldwide.Meet the team:The Sr Lead Biostatistician will work with an incredible team of Biostatisticians, Statistical Programmers, Clinical Data Managers, Data Scientists, and Medical Writers. We have a fast-paced environment and are looking for dynamic people that want to work on an amazing life-changing technology.Where you come in:You will lead the statistical analysis planning and production activities for Clinical Studies. Activities include designing studies and endpoints, estimating sample sizes with power analysis, creating/reviewing statistical analysis plans, creating/reviewing tables, figures and listings, interpreting results, and addressing limitations in study design and/or statistical methods.You will lead and work with a project team of biostatisticians, statistical programmers, and medical writers to ensure the timely and accurate completion of analyses (i.e., tables, figures, listings) for clinical study reports.You will be the statistical lead for pivotal studies in regulatory submission to regulatory agencies (US and ex-US) for IDEs, 501(k)s, and PMAs, as well as feasibility, registry, RWD and other studies.You will provide review and input on clinical protocols, CRFs, and be responsible for the overall data integrity of the study.You will be responsible for statistical analyses and interpretation of results for abstracts and manuscripts.You will utilize literature review as a research methodology to assist statistical method development and analysis in support of clinical studies and RWE.You will provide leadership to junior biostatisticians on the team.You will provide statistical consultation to R&D, engineering, marketing, manufacturing, medical science, and external parties.What makes you successful:You have proficiency in statistics methods, application, and programming. If you reside within commuting distance of a Dexcom site (typically 75 miles/120km) a hybrid working environment may be available.
