Job Description:ResponsibilitiesThis role is responsible for the processing functions of payments and processing/analyzing chargeback and disputes. The Specialist, Revenue Accounting will report to theManager, Revenue Accounting.
  • Investigate and resolve customer disputes in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Reviewing chargeback claims to determine whether they are valid or whether they should be denied because of procedural errors.
  • Documenting all aspects of the chargeback process, including identifying the parties involved, summarizing the facts of the case, and recording the decision made on each case.
  • Monitor, report and assist in troubleshooting system processes and procedures (automated or manual) impacting payments/Accounting.
  • Attend meetings impacting relevant duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • Associate's degree or equivalent experience in (Accounting or Finance).
  • 1-3 years' experience in dealing with chargeback settlements or customer disputes.
  • Knowledge and application of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Access, etc.).
  • Previous experiencewith Microsoft Excel Pivot Tables and V-Lookups preferred.
  • Knowledge of reporting from Reservation systems (Navitaire Reporting, Radar, etc.).
  • Domestic & International travel under 10% of time.
  • Hybrid.
